Lin Patterson

I am a textile designer and maker, living in rural Suffolk with my husband in our beautiful converted barn, at the top of the Waveney valley.
My style is very distinctive, and mostly I use my own hand-dyed fabrics, cotton and silk velvet.
The colours I use are usually bold and bright, and the shapes simple and geometric.
I use patchwork, but give my own contemporary twist on traditional blocks, often using appliqué and free-motion stitching to create texture.
Each piece I produce is unique and handmade by me in my studio at home.
